Lord, I am at the end of myself. I have been here for a while. In church today, Pastor said maybe we ought to start changing our prayers from, “God, I want…” to “God, What can I do for You today?” This hit me – it spoke deep into my soul. Help me get my eyes off myself, Lord. Help me focus on others and not on problems, bills, appliances, ceremonies, fuel prices, and all the other million things that take front and center when YOU should be front and center.
Search me, Lord! Know my heart!
I have seen the birds and considered the lilies. You take care of each. You will take care of our family as well. I know that I know that I know this.
So, again – what can I do for You today, Lord?
